The master defines the multi-screen configuration. He allows the user to manipulate the camera and controls the synchronization of the slave channels. The master is not intended to be part of the multi-screen visualization and should only be used to control the visualization. The master will not be synchronized with the slaves.
In the “General” section, the same settings on all participating computers must be made:
Master: Whether or not this computer should act as master. Only one master can exist per multiple-screen configuration.
Master port: The UDP port the master listens for answers from the slave computers.
Multicast address: A valid multicast address the master uses to send data to the slave computers.
Slave port: The UDP port the slave computers listen on to receive data from the master.
